SCREEN PRINTING

The technology of screen printing involves printing each color sequentially on the outer surface of the glass, and then thermally curing the decoration. This results in very high durability of the decoration. Depending on the intended use of the print, we use inks that are resistant to industrial dishwashers or free of heavy metals. We can also apply precious metals such as gold or platinum to glass. Technically and technologically, we are prepared for multicolor printing on glass of various shapes. We use both organic inks (self-curing or UV-curing) and ceramic inks (high-firing). We can make prints in any chosen color, and we also use metallic effects within the decoration using organic inks. A well-known and frequently used special effect is satin printing. Screen printing is often used for branding glass products for marketing purposes by many well-known companies, whether it be for gift sets or for their own use. Prints on various types of glass packaging act as labels (as an alternative to paper labels). Additionally, this is often a used technology for applying various ornaments and decorations to glass, whether it be for packaging or for everyday use.

Screen printing technology can be combined with others, such as:
• satin + screen printing,
• painting + screen printing,
• painting + screen printing + hot stamping.
